I'm glad you asked!
While I don't recommend copying resume examples directly (see Lessons to learn from resume examples), they are great source of creative ideas for your new or revamped resume. Nothing can spice up an outdated resume like a makeover. You can use resume examples as your consultants.
But where are there good ones? The best place I've found is at ResumeEdge.com. They have one of the most helpful sets of resume examples I've ever seen. Wish I'd had it a few years ago! (I get NOTHING if you go there and buy a resume, by the way.)
If you click on their "Sample Work" link, you'll see a page that lists multiple samples in several categories, including Executives, Professionals, IT Professionals. They even have samples for students and entry level folks (they need resumes too). But it gets much better than that.
For most of the resume examples, they have a Before version (before they gave the submitter some help) and an After version. As television infomercials say, though, "Wait! There's more!" They also include an immensely helpful critique for each of the resume examples that shows you how their resume writing and/or resume editing services transformed the Before into the After. And it's all free.
I've never seen anything like that before, and it's immensely helpful for job seekers who need resume help. Their resume writing services are top-notch also, and quite well respected. In fact, The Wall Street Journal's CareerJournal.com chose them as their resume partner. They must be doing something right.
